About The Awards & The Co-Chairs

The mission of the Israel Cancer Research Fund is to harness Israel's scientific talent to find a cure for cancer. It is one of the largest single sources of private funds for cancer research in Israel, with six chapters worldwide in Toronto, Montreal, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Israel and has invested in more than 1,600 research grants.

On April 26, 2010 Israel Cancer Research Fund (ICRF) will be celebrating our 9th annual Women of Action Luncheon. This year we are privileged to honour four extraordinary women for their achievements in philan- thropy, business, and health sciences. This year’s honourees are: Lisa Draper, Community Leader; Laurie May, Co-President, Maple Pictures Corp.; Dr. Molly Shoichet, Professor, Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry, Canada Research Chair in Tissue Engineering, University of Toronto and Terrence Donnelly Centre for Cellular and Biomolecular Research; and Senator Pamela Wallin, Television Journalist and Diplomat

Please join us in celebrating these exceptional women. Your generosity and commitment will ensure the continued work of our dedicated scientists in Israel.
